Description / Appearance

bulletNatural gas fired combined cycle with duct firing peaking capacity.  Six gas turbines with heat recovery steam generators and two steam turbines
bullet1,450 MW base load plus 300 MW duct fire peaking capacity  
bulletClean burning natural gas (delivered by pipeline).  Backup Fuel: low sulfur fuel oil.

bulletSwitch yard
bulletOffice and maintenance buildings
bulletFuel oil and water storage tanks
bulletConstruction will take approximately three years 

Environmental

bulletThe Project site has been surveyed for historical, cultural and archeological sites. None were found.
bullet The Project site has been surveyed for threatened and endangered species and wetlands.  None were found.
bulletThe facility will meet all state and federal air emission requirements.
bulletThe Project uses the best available control technology (BACT) for emissions.  
bulletAir permit received
bulletWaste water discharge permit received
